Delightful Greek cookie balls with a tender, nutty flavor and a sweet powdered sugar coating. Perfect for festive occasions or as a sweet treat with coffee or tea.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup ground, chopped fine walnuts
  • confectioners sugar

Instructions

  1. Mix butter, sugar, and vanilla together.
  2. Gradually stir in flour and finely chopped walnuts.
  3. Chill the mixture for 30 minutes.
  4. Shape into marble-sized balls.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 15 to 17 minutes until firm but not brown.
  6. While hot, roll the cookies in confectioners sugar.
  7. Allow to cool.
  8. Roll again in confectioners sugar before serving.
