Ingredients

  • 1 cabbage head
  • water to cover
  • 1 tsp salt
  • cruet of olive oil
  • lemon wedges

Instructions

  1. Cut the head of cabbage into six sections.
  2. Place the cabbage sections in a pot and cover with water.
  3. Bring the water to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.
  4. Cook for 40 minutes until tender.
  5. Remove the cooked cabbage from the water and place on a platter.
  6. Pour olive oil over the cabbage.
  7. Arrange lemon wedges around the cabbage and serve.
