Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs. bacon
  • 2 to 3 cans whole green beans
  • 1 stick butter
  • Brown sugar
  • Toothpicks

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut the bacon slices in half crosswise.
  3. Wrap 4 to 5 green beans with each bacon half and secure with toothpicks.
  4. Arrange the bacon-wrapped green beans in a large baking dish.
  5. Melt the butter and stir in enough brown sugar to make a thick mixture.
  6. Pour the butter and brown sugar mixture over the bacon-wrapped green beans.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour, until bacon is crispy and glaze is caramelized.
