Ingredients

  • 1 roast
  • 1 onion
  • 1 can salsa
  • 1 can green chiles
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Season the roast with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  2. In a large pot or slow cooker, add the seasoned roast.
  3. Add the chopped onion, can of salsa, and green chiles to the pot.
  4. Cook the mixture on low for about 3 hours or until the meat is tender and easily shredded.
  5. Remove the roast and make gravy from the juices by simmering and reducing them until thickened.
  6. Shred the roast and return it to the gravy before serving.
