Ingredients

  • 4 oz. can sliced green chiles
  • 1 lb. can tomatoes
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder or garlic salt
  • 3 chopped green onions
  • 1 lb. can roast beef
  • 1 lb. can refried beans
  • 1 package flour tortillas

Instructions

  1. Combine the sliced green chiles, canned tomatoes, garlic powder or garlic salt, chopped green onions, and roast beef in a pot and cook slowly for about 30 minutes.
  2. Add refried beans to the mixture and cook for an additional 10 to 20 minutes, stirring well.
  3. Remove the flour tortillas from their packaging and wrap them in aluminum foil.
  4. Heat the wrapped tortillas in a 400° oven for 10 to 15 minutes until soft and pliable.
  5. Place 1 or 2 tablespoons of the beef and bean mixture on one side of a flour tortilla.
  6. Roll up the tortilla into a flute shape to form a burrito.
  7. Keep the burritos warm until ready to serve.
