Green-Top Tomatoes
Ingredients
- 12 thick slices tomato ⓘ
- 2 (10 oz.) pkg. chopped spinach, cooked and drained
- 1 c. Italian bread crumbs ⓘ
- 1 c. plain bread crumbs
- 6 chopped green onions ⓘ
- 6 eggs, beaten ⓘ
- 3/4 c. melted oleo ⓘ
- 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese ⓘ
- 1/4 tsp. Worcestershire ⓘ
- 1 tsp. salt ⓘ
- 1/2 tsp. pepper ⓘ
- 1 tsp. thyme ⓘ
- 1/4 tsp. Tabasco ⓘ
Instructions
- Mix spinach with remaining ingredients, except tomatoes.
- Pile mixture on top of tomato slices.
- Place on buttered baking sheet. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.
