Ingredients

  • 3 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp. butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onion with tops
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 loaf french bread, sliced

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth.
  2. Add shredded mozzarella cheese, chopped green onions, and garlic salt; mix well.
  3. Spread the cheese mixture on both sides of each slice of bread.
  4. Wrap the entire loaf in heavy-duty foil, sealing tightly.
  5. Grill, covered over medium coals for 8-10 minutes, turning once.
  6. Unwrap the foil and grill for an additional 5 minutes.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy.
