- Wet a saucepan and pour out all water.
- Add the ground pork to the pan; cover and cook on medium-high heat.
- Chop the onion and add it to the pork; stir and cover.
- Cut the potato in half and add it to the pan.
- Cover the pan with the pork and bring to steam, then simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
- Remove the potato, mash it without milk, and add it back to the meat mixture.
- Season with salt, pepper, and allspice, then stir well.
- Cover and simmer for an additional 20 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and let stand for 30 minutes.
- Pour the mixture into a dish.
- Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
