Ingredients

  • 24 guavas
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 gallon water

Instructions

  1. Peel the guavas and cut them into squares.
  2. Add sugar to the guavas and let sit for 8 hours until the sugar has dissolved.
  3. Add water to the mixture and boil for 2 hours.
  4. Let the mixture cool.
  5. Strain the juice into another container.
  6. Check if the guavas are thick enough for jelly.
  7. If not, cook the mixture for an additional 30 minutes.
