Instructions
- Sift dry ingredients together; set aside.
- In mixing bowl add hot coffee to butter, sugar and syrup, then add dry ingredients and mix only until mixture is turned well.
- Bake in well-greased and heated cast-iron skillets (two 8-inch) at 325° about 25 minutes or until bread springs back to touch.
- Turn immediately to cake plate and butter bottom layer and add top layer.
