Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef or sausage
  • 1 large onion
  • 3 potatoes
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 Tbsp. parsley
  • 1 tsp. basil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 can cream-style corn
  • 1 can whole corn

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef or sausage and drain excess fat.
  2. Add chopped onion, chopped potatoes, water, parsley, basil, salt, pepper, and sugar to the pot.
  3. Simmer for 15 to 20 minutes until potatoes are tender.
  4. Add both cans of corn to the mixture.
  5. Bring to a boil and then add milk, stirring well before serving.
