Ingredients

  • 8 oz. cooked elbow macaroni
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup sliced or cubed ham
  • 1 cup frozen broccoli
  • 1/2 cup grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon seasoning salt
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 can chopped water chestnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix cooked elbow macaroni, chopped onion, ham, seasoning salt, and mayonnaise in a large bowl until well combined.
  2. Ensure the mixture has a slightly liquid consistency but not too runny.
  3. Add frozen broccoli and half of the grated Cheddar cheese to the mixture and toss to combine.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven and sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top.
  6. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
