- In a greased 13 x 9-inch pan, lay 8 slices of bread.
- Top each bread slice with 1 slice of ham and 1 slice of cheese.
- Place the remaining bread slices on top.

- Pour the egg mixture over the bread in the pan and refrigerate overnight.
- Sprinkle with cornflake crumbs and drizzle 1/4 cup melted margarine over the casserole.
