- Cut the ham into 1/2-inch slices.
- Cook the bacon until crisp, then cut into quarters and set aside.
- Pour off all but 1 tablespoon of drippings from the pan.
- In the same pan, brown the ham on both sides.
- Drain the pineapple slices, reserving the syrup.
- Place one pineapple ring on each piece of ham.
- Add brown sugar to the reserved pineapple syrup.
- Pour the syrup mixture over the ham and pineapple in the skillet.
- Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Spoon the syrup over the ham, then top with cheese slices and bacon pieces.
- Cover and cook until the cheese melts.
