A flavorful hot dip combining seasoned ground beef, creamy cheese, and spicy salsa, perfect for parties and gatherings with crunchy tortilla chips for dipping.

Ingredients

  • 1 to 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 package taco seasoning
  • 10 oz. picante sauce
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 package shredded Monterey Jack cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown the hamburger and pour off excess fat.
  2. Add taco seasoning to the cooked hamburger and stir well.
  3. Stir in the picante sauce.
  4. Layer in a casserole dish: 4 ounces of cubed cream cheese, half of the hamburger mixture, 4 ounces of cubed cream cheese, half of the shredded Monterey Jack cheese, the remaining hamburger mixture, and the remaining Monterey Jack cheese.
  5. Heat in microwave or oven until hot and bubbly.
  6. Serve warm with tortilla chips.
