- Brown the hamburger in a skillet until fully cooked.
- Cut up the potatoes and cook them in about 1 cup or less of water until tender.
- Add the cooked potatoes, ranch style beans, whole kernel corn, drained green chili peppers, tomato sauce, tomatoes, salt, and sugar to the browned hamburger.
- Simmer the mixture for 3 to 4 hours, stirring occasionally. Alternatively, use a crock-pot for cooking.
