Ingredients

  • 1 (9-inch) pie shell
  • 1/2 to 3/4 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/3 cup sliced green onions
  • 1 1/2 cups grated Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet; season with salt, pepper, and other spices as desired.
  2. Drain the cooked beef and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, blend together mayonnaise, milk, eggs, and cornstarch until smooth.
  4. Place the cooked beef in the pie shell.
  5. Pour the mayonnaise mixture over the beef in the pie shell.
  6. Top with grated Cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35 to 40 minutes until golden and set.
