Instructions
- Combine consomme, soy sauce, lemon juice and garlic.
- Pour over meat and marinate 12 to 24 hours.
- Place roast and liquid in a 300° oven.
- Roast should be covered with aluminum foil or lid. Roast for 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
- Remove from oven and top with sliced onions.
- Place vegetables around the roast in the juices.
- Return to the oven and roast an additional 1 to 1 1/2 hours until vegetables are tender.
