  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup beet juice
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients, except beets and butter.
  2. Cook until thick, stirring constantly.
  3. Add beets and butter.
  4. Cook a few minutes longer.
