Ingredients

  • 1 bag frozen hash browns
  • 1 can cream of potato soup
  • 1 can Cheddar cheese soup
  • 1 small container sour cream
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 cup crushed cornflakes (optional)
  • 1/2 stick melted butter (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix the cream of potato soup, Cheddar cheese soup, sour cream, and chopped onion in a large bowl.
  2. Add frozen hash browns and toss to coat evenly.
  3. Place the mixture in a greased 9 x 11-inch pan.
  4. If desired, mix crushed cornflakes with melted butter and sprinkle over the top of the mixture.
  5. Cover with foil.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.
  7. Remove foil and bake for an additional 30 minutes or until done.
