Ingredients

  • 1 white or yellow cake mix
  • 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese
  • 1 package vanilla instant pudding
  • 1 jar maraschino cherries
  • 1 tub Cool Whip
  • 1 large can crushed pineapple
  • 1 package shredded coconut

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cake according to the package directions, using pineapple juice instead of water, and bake in a sheath cake pan.
  2. Allow the cake to cool completely.
  3. Mix the cream cheese and vanilla instant pudding to create the first layer.
  4. Spread the crushed pineapple and Cool Whip mixture over the cream cheese and pudding layer.
  5. Add a layer of shredded coconut on top.
  6. Finally, top the cake with maraschino cherries.
