Ingredients

  • 1 lb. bacon
  • 1 onion
  • 3 c. water
  • 1 c. tomatoes
  • 1/2 c. finely cut celery
  • 6 drops Tabasco
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire
  • 2 cans minced clams

Instructions

  1. Fry bacon and break into small pieces.
  2. Cook the onion in a small amount of bacon fat until browned.
  3. Add water, tomatoes, and finely cut celery to the pot.
  4. Simmer a while with Tabasco sauce and Worcestershire.
  5. Add the minced clams and potatoes, then simmer until potatoes are done.
