Ingredients

  • 2 lb. summer squash, sliced
  • 2 c. water
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. Tabasco
  • 3 Tbsp. chopped chives, fresh

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients except chives in a saucepan.
  2. Heat to simmer.
  3. Cook about 15 to 20 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle with chives during the last 5 minutes of cooking.
