Hoedown Taters are hearty baked potato shells filled with cheesy, creamy, and smoky flavors, perfect as a comforting appetizer or side for gatherings and family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 6 hot baked Irish potatoes
  • 2 cups shredded Kraft sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup dairy sour cream
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 6 slices cooked bacon
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Slice potatoes in half lengthwise.
  2. Scoop out centers, leaving a 1/8-inch shell.
  3. Combine the potato centers, shredded Cheddar cheese, sour cream, and margarine.
  4. Mix until blended.
  5. Stir in cooked bacon pieces.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Fill the potato shells with the mixture.
  8. Place filled shells on a cookie sheet.
  9. Bake at 350°F for 20 to 25 minutes.
