Ingredients

  • 1 butter pecan cake mix
  • 1 tub ready to spread pecan frosting
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven and generously oil or spray a 9 x 13-inch cake pan or a Bundt pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, water, and the ready-to-spread pecan frosting.
  3. Mix all ingredients well until smooth and evenly incorporated.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  5. Bake until the cake is done and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Optionally, serve with Cool Whip.
