Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 dozen beaten eggs
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 pound grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 pound sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 pound brown and drained sausage
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Mix beaten eggs and milk; soft scramble in butter.
  2. Layer 1/3 of the egg mixture, 1/3 of the cheese sauce, and 1/3 of the sausage in a dish.
  3. Repeat the layering two more times.
  4. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  5. Top with sliced mushrooms; cover and bake at 275°F for 50 minutes.
