A festive liverwurst pate with creamy, savory flavors, garnished with stuffed olives, perfect for holiday gatherings or anytime appetizing snack.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces liverwurst
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/3 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix liverwurst, half of the cream cheese, chopped onion, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, and hot pepper sauce.
  2. Combine well until smooth.
  3. Form a mound of the mixture in the center of a serving dish and freeze for 15 minutes.
  4. Frost the top with the remaining cream cheese.
  5. Slice stuffed olives with pimentos to create a green circle with a red pimento inside.
  6. Arrange the olives on the outside of the mound as a garnish.
  7. Serve with low-carb crackers and vegetables.
