Ingredients

  • 4 c. uncooked oatmeal
  • 1 c. chopped peanuts
  • 1/2 c. Grape-Nuts
  • 1/2 c. bran
  • 1/4 c. sugar substitute
  • 1/3 c. vegetable oil
  • 1/2 c. wheat germ

Instructions

  1. Spread the oatmeal on a cookie sheet and heat in a 350° oven for 10 minutes.
  2. Combine all ingredients except for wheat germ.
  3. Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet or pan for 20 minutes, stirring once to brown evenly.
  4. Allow mixture to cool in the oven.
  5. Add wheat germ and raisins.
  6. Refrigerate in glass jars or plastic containers.
