Homemade Payday Candy Bars are rich, nutty confections with creamy marshmallow and peanut butter flavors, perfect for sweet tooths and nostalgic treat lovers alike.

Ingredients

  • 2 jars dry roasted peanuts
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 2 c. mini marshmallows
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 pkg. peanut butter chips

Instructions

  1. Layer the bottom of a greased 9 x 13-inch pan with 1 jar of dry roasted peanuts.
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt oleo and mini marshmallows over low heat.
  3. Add the sweetened condensed milk and peanut butter chips to the melted mixture.
  4. Stir until all ingredients are melted and well combined.
  5. Evenly pour the mixture over the layered peanuts in the pan.
  6. Top with the second jar of peanuts and press them into the surface with fingers.
  7. Let the candy set until firm, about 1-2 hours.
  8. Cut into squares and serve.
