- Mix peanut butter and confectioners sugar in a bowl.
- Add melted margarine to the peanut butter mixture and combine thoroughly.
- Shape the mixture into small balls and chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour or longer.
- Melt chocolate chips and paraffin wax together until smooth.
- Use a bamboo skewer or similar tool to dip each peanut butter ball into the melted chocolate.
- Place the dipped candies on wax paper to set.
- Optional: Roll the chocolate-coated candies in chopped nuts if desired.
- Refrigerate or freeze to firm up before serving.
