Ingredients

  • 1 gal. tomatoes
  • 1 qt. vinegar
  • 1 qt. sugar
  • 1 tsp. allspice
  • 1/2 tsp. red pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper

Instructions

  1. Crush tomatoes through a colander.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a large pan.
  3. Cook slowly until the mixture thickens.
  4. Pour into jars and seal.
