Ingredients

  • 100 grams - ulundu
  • 1 large onions finely chopped
  • 4 each hot chili peppers dried
  • 1 teaspoon chat masala powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste
  • 2 teaspoons curry leaves finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons flour, all-purpose
  • 500 millilitres vegetable oil for frying
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano dried

Instructions

  1. Sock ulundu in water for 6 hours.
  2. not to much water.
  3. Grind in to a thick and fine adding very little water.
  4. Transfer to a bowl and adding Ingredients.
  5. Mix well[ ulundu onion, dry chilies, masala powder, salt, curry leaves, ginger, oregano, baking powder, plain flour] let rest for 10 minutes.
  6. Dip your hand in water, take small ball in your palm and flat.
  7. Put a hole in the center (like dough nut).
  8. Deep fry them in hot oil (medium heat), until they are golden brown and crispy.
  9. Serve with chutney or sauce.
