- Mix together shortening, eggs, honey and brown sugar.
- Stir together flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder and add to honey mixture.
- Add vanilla, walnuts and dates.
- Stir in.
- Drop by teaspoon onto greased baking sheet.
- Bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes.
- Yields 120 cookies.
