- Put butter, honey, water, and salt in a saucepan; blend cornstarch with 1/4 cup of this mixture.
- Return to saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened and it comes to a boil.
- Boil for 2 or 3 minutes, then remove from heat and cool.
