Ingredients

  • 1 (14 ounce) can kidney beans
  • 1 (14 ounce) can chickpeas, drained
  • 1 (14 ounce) can green beans, drained
  • 1 (14 ounce) can yellow beans, drained
  • 1 (14 ounce) can pork and beans, in molasses sauce
  • 4 large onions, sliced thin and separated
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 lb bacon, diced, cooked and drained
  • 2 tablespoons molasses
  • 2 teaspoons dry mustard
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • garlic salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. In medium saute pan, with bacon fat from bacon.
  3. saute the onions until softened
  4. Add sugar, molasses, mustard, vinegar and garlic salt.
  5. Simmer 20 minutes.
  6. Add to the remaining ingredients in large bowl and mix.
  7. Place in large casserole dish.
  8. and bake for 1 hour.
  9. Serve hot.
