Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder

Instructions

  1. Add flour, a little sugar (about 1 tablespoon), and 2 teaspoons butter to the mixture.
  2. Mix in the eggs, buttermilk, salt, soda, and baking powder until combined.
  3. Heat a skillet and pour small batter portions about the size of a silver dollar.
  4. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set, then flip and cook the other side until golden brown.
