Ingredients

  • 2 c. water
  • 1 Tbsp. ground ginger
  • 1 Tbsp. ground nutmeg
  • 6 whole cloves
  • 6 whole allspice
  • 2 sticks cinnamon
  • 1 gal. apple cider
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1 c. brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Combine water and spices in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook for 10 minutes.
  2. Add apple cider and both sugars to the saucepan. Simmer over low heat for 10 minutes.
  3. Serve hot, garnished with additional cinnamon sticks or apple slices if desired.
