Spareribs Delicious
Tender spareribs coated in a flavorful chili sauce glaze, these ribs are perfect for gatherings or casual dinners. - Cut the spareribs into serving size pieces.
- Place the ribs in a large Dutch oven.
- Add water to cover the ribs, along with the quartered onion, quartered celery, black peppercorns, and salt. Bring to a boil; cover and reduce heat. Simmer for 40 minutes.
- Drain the ribs well.
- Place the ribs, meaty side down, on a rack in a roasting pan.
- Combine chili sauce with the remaining ingredients: brown sugar, vinegar, crushed garlic, prepared horseradish, and chili powder. Stir well.
- Brush half of the sauce on the ribs.
- Bake uncovered at 375°F for 25 minutes.
- Turn the ribs over and baste with the remaining sauce.
- Bake for an additional 50 minutes or until the ribs are tender.
