Instructions
- Simmer all ingredients in a saucepan.
- In another large, heavy saucepan, mix 2 cans of celery soup and two 8-ounce cartons of sour cream.
- Heat the mixture slowly.
- Lift oysters and seasonings out of the first pan using a slotted spoon and stir into the soup mixture.
- Heat thoroughly.
- Serve in a chafing dish with toast points.
