Ingredients

  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 head cabbage

Instructions

  1. Cut the cabbage into quarters and pack into a jar.
  2. Add salt, red pepper, and garlic to the jar.
  3. Boil vinegar and water together.
  4. Pour the hot vinegar and water mixture into the jar with the cabbage.
  5. Process in a hot water bath for 10 minutes.
