Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion
  • 1/4 stick margarine
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1/4 pound soda crackers
  • 1 large can of salmon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sliced hard boiled eggs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt margarine in a pan and brown the chopped onion.
  2. Add milk to the pan and warm it without letting it boil.
  3. Stir in crumbled soda crackers and drained salmon.
  4. Cook for a few minutes until the mixture thickens slightly, stirring often to prevent burning.
  5. Add sliced hard boiled eggs last, if desired, and serve.
