Ingredients

  • 2 c. beets, cooked
  • 1 c. juice
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 1 c. beet juice

Instructions

  1. Mix sugar and flour together in a saucepan.
  2. Add vinegar and beet juice to the mixture and stir well.
  3. Cook over low heat until the mixture thickens.
  4. Add cooked beets and butter to the sauce.
  5. Simmer until thoroughly hot before serving.
