A hearty Hungarian frittata packed with savory salami, sausages, vibrant peppers, and tomatoes, seasoned with paprika—perfect for breakfast, brunch, or casual dinners.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. salami
  • 4 wiener sausages
  • 2 green bell peppers
  • 3 red tomatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 4 to 6 eggs
  • 1 tsp. paprika

Instructions

  1. Cut sausages into strips and salami into slices.
  2. Rinse peppers, remove seeds, and cut into slices.
  3. Rinse and slice tomatoes.
  4. Peel and slice onions.
  5. Saute sausages and salami in a skillet for 3 minutes.
  6. Add onions and peppers, and saute a few minutes longer.
  7. Add tomatoes and reduce heat.
  8. Beat eggs in a bowl.
  9. Pour eggs over all ingredients in the pan.
  10. Stir mixture over medium heat until eggs are set.
  11. Sprinkle with paprika and serve with rye bread or wheat bread.
