A refreshing iced tea slush with orange and bourbon flavors, perfect for summer gatherings or relaxing evenings, offering a sweet, citrusy, and slightly boozy treat.

Ingredients

  • 2 tea bags
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 1/2 cups water
  • 1 (6 oz.) can frozen orange juice
  • 1/2 cup bourbon or whiskey

Instructions

  1. Steep tea bags in boiling water for 2 to 3 minutes; remove and discard tea bags.
  2. Stir in sugar until dissolved.
  3. Add remaining ingredients and mix until sugar is fully dissolved.
  4. Pour mixture into a container and freeze until firm.
  5. Remove from freezer about 10 minutes before serving.
  6. Spoon into glasses and garnish with lemon wedges.
  7. Keep unused portion in the freezer.
