Ingredients

  • 2 lb. pea beans
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1/3 cup molasses
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup catsup
  • 2 Tbsp. mustard
  • 4 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Soak the pea beans overnight.
  2. Pressure cook the beans with ample water until barely tender, about 20 minutes.
  3. Drain the beans and place them in a bean pot with the rest of the ingredients.
  4. Bake at 350°F for 4 to 6 hours.
  5. Add water as needed during baking so they won't dry out.
