Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup instant coffee
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 14 cups cold water
  • 1 pint half and half
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla

Instructions

  1. Mix instant coffee and sugar, then dissolve in 2 cups of boiling water.
  2. Add 14 cups of cold water to the coffee mixture.
  3. Stir in half and half and vanilla, then refrigerate until needed or overnight.
  4. At serving time, put one gallon of softened ice cream into a large punch bowl.
  5. Add the prepared coffee mixture to the punch bowl.
  6. Serve chilled.
