A refreshing chilled strawberry soup with creamy yogurt and hints of cinnamon and nutmeg, perfect for summer gatherings or a light, fruity appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 1 qt. strawberry yogurt
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 pt. fresh strawberries
  • 1 (8 oz.) container plain yogurt
  • dash of nutmeg
  • lemon slices

Instructions

  1. Combine strawberry yogurt, milk, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Blend gently until smooth.
  3. Fold in sliced strawberries.
  4. Chill the mixture until well chilled.
  5. When ready to serve, spoon into bowls and top each with a dollop of plain yogurt.
  6. Sprinkle a dash of nutmeg on top of each bowl.
  7. Float a slice of lemon on top of each bowl of soup.
