Ingredients

  • 1 medium head cabbage
  • 1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
  • 1 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 can corned beef

Instructions

  1. Place shredded cabbage, corned beef, and chopped onion in a 4-quart casserole dish.
  2. Cover the mixture with dry bread crumbs.
  3. Pour evaporated milk and melted butter over the casserole.
  4. Cover with a lid or foil.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes.
  6. Uncover and bake for an additional 30 minutes or until brown and cabbage is tender.
