Ingredients

  • 1/2 can chickpeas
  • 1 can lima beans
  • 1 can green beans
  • 1 can yellow wax beans
  • 1 can red kidney beans
  • 4 medium onions
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 2/3 c. vinegar
  • 1/3 c. salad oil

Instructions

  1. Drain off all juice from the beans in the cans.
  2. Peel the onions and cut them into rings.
  3. Add the onions to the beans in a large bowl.
  4. Toss together all ingredients.
  5. Add sugar, salad oil, salt, pepper and vinegar.
  6. Refrigerate overnight.
