A light and fruity salad combining crushed pineapple, lime jello, marshmallows, cottage cheese, and nuts for a refreshing dessert suitable for casual gatherings or family meals.

Ingredients

  • 15 1/2 oz. can crushed pineapple
  • 3 oz. package lime jello
  • 1 1/4 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 1 1/4 cups cottage cheese small curd
  • 1/4 cup nuts finely cut or chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat the crushed pineapple to boiling point; do not boil.
  2. Add lime jello and miniature marshmallows; stir lightly until dissolved.
  3. Remove from heat. When slightly cooled, add cottage cheese and chopped nuts.
  4. Pour the mixture into a 6 x 10-inch Pyrex dish.
  5. Place in refrigerator to chill before serving.
